George Washington's Birthplace

While on our way to MD we came upon another historical landmark..we were very happy since we all love history! This one in particular was the Birthplace of George Washington. The site is located on Pope's creek in Westmorland County, Virginia. We didn't have time to walk the trail since we were still in route to our destination but we did stop long enough to get a few pictures and look around

a bit.
