Happy Independence Day America!

Happy 4th of July!!!

In 1776, John Adams declared, "Independence Day will be the most memorable epocha in the history of America. I am apt to believe that it will be celebrated by succeeding generations as the great anniversary festival. It ought to be commemorated as the day of deliverance, by solemn acts of devotion to God Almighty. It ought to be solemnized with pomp and parade, with shows, games, sports, guns, bells, bonfires, and illuminations, from one end of this continent to the other, from this time forward forevermore."

What are you're Holiday plans? We plan on attending our neighborhood block party. It should be pretty fun.

Have a great weekend!!

Happy 4th to you both!! My husband and I will be heading to Ft. Worth to see my brother and his wife. We are going to spend the evening at the Botanical Gardens there listening to patriotic music, admiring the gardens and watching fireworks while enjoying a picnic in the gardens. I cant wait!

We spent the earlier afternoon at a picnic area at Lake Lure. Then later that evening, we headed to Hominy Valley for their annual Fourth Of July Bluegrass Festival and fireworks. It was GREAT!!
