Summer Reading

It seems like it's been awhile since we last posted,Sorry!

Honestly there really hasn't been anything interesting to blog about...

We don't want our blog to seem "dead"..lol so we will try to post

a little something! During the summer we usually

stay caught up on our reading by going to the library.

Yesterday we went and checked out a few books.

I had read one of Beverly Lewis' books before.The Covenant.

It was really good. So I decided to check out The Postcard written by her and

Sanctuary (pictured above), which was written by both her and her husband David Lewis.

Katie checked out "The cast of two shadow's" by Ann Rinaldi.

I have already read that one, I really liked it.

So, have any of you read any good books lately?

Another Hot Summer Day...

Hi everyone! We hope you are all having a great Monday!

It looks,and feels as if it is going to be another scorching hot summer day here in South Carolina. The high temp. for the day is suppost to be 99 degrees..

Needless to say we will be spending the day indoors!

Sweet Harley a.k.a "Kitty"

We are so blessed to have such a sweet little *furry* sister! lol

We call her Kitty whenever Charlie (our daschund) is around

because there names (Harley and Charlie) sound so similar that when

we call Harley Charlie usually comes.

A Nice Swim.

Hi, Hope you all are having a great week!

We have had a nice, relaxing day.

Earlier this afternoon we went down to our

community pool for a nice cool swim. Yes,the water was

actually cool. Probably because it was overcast. That would

also be why the water in each of these pictures are different colors.

We didn't have our camera that close to the water.. lol, it was the cell

phone...we're lucky, it didn't even get wet. (:

Celebration at Cowpen's National Battlefield.

Hi,How are you all? We hope that everyone had a great 4th of July!

Yesterday evening we went over to Cowpen's Battlefield for their annual Independence Day celebration. We have gone every year for a very long time. It is always lots of fun!

A few days ago we both went and had our hair trimmed. Mine (Holly's) looks pretty much the same as before just minus about 2 inches. It had gotten really long and I liked it that way but it is always good to have it trimmed every once and a while. Katie had hers cut and styled differently though. I think it looks great!

Our Week So Far..

Hi, We hope you all are having a great week so far! We have been pretty busy. Today Daddy did some painting and Holly keep busy cleaning while I (Katie) tended to Harley's every need! lol (We treat her like our little Sis). This evening we went to the 61st annual Greer Baptist Camp meeting. We had a great time. Here are some pictures.

And..Here is a picture of Harley..(-: Since school has been out we have got into the habit of staying up really late ...I think it may be taking a toll on Harley lol! she trys to stay up with us but sometimes...well,she just doesn't make it till 1am! Have a great week!
